Youth and Worship Ministry Internship

Do you know a college or seminary student passionate about worship ministry and looking to gain experience in a beautiful location? Look no further! First Baptist Church of Tahoe City is offering a worship ministry internship for individuals looking to engage congregational worship and grow in their ministry skills. Interns will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced musicians and help plan and execute worship services. 

At First Baptist Church of Tahoe City, we pride ourselves on being a welcoming and relaxed mountain church located in the heart of Lake Tahoe. We are an interdenominational church that welcomes everyone, and we strive to have a positive impact on our community through our various ministries. 

We are looking for a talented musician who can play at least one instrument proficiently and has experience leading worship in a church or ministry setting. This is a unique opportunity to combine your ministry skills with the stunning natural beauty of Lake Tahoe. Don't miss out on this chance to gain valuable experience in the field of worship ministry. This internship begins in early January and lasts through mid May.

We understand that this isn't a full-time opportunity, so we are committed to helping our interns find a second job through our extensive community contacts. We believe that this internship will be a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in worship leadership, and we are excited to offer support and guidance throughout the process.

You’ll receive: 

• $500 monthly stipend 

• $300 monthly grocery stipend 

• Free housing 

• Free transportation to and from Lake Tahoe

• Opportunities for free skiing and snowboarding during the spring semester
