We believe in the priesthood of all believers, recognizing the authority of Scripture, and affirm the freedom and responsibility of every person to relate directly to God. This relationship occurs without the imposition of creed or the control of clergy or government, which is a vital aspect of Baptist church autonomy and the broader principle of freedom of religion.

We believe in the authority of Scripture as central to both individual lives and the community of the church. Under the Lordship of Christ, we recognize the significance of the Bible and uphold the principles of Baptist church autonomy, affirming the freedom of religion that allows every Christian to interpret and apply Scripture under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the autonomy of every local church, grounded in the authority of Scripture. We affirm that Baptist church autonomy allows these congregations, under the Lordship of Christ, the freedom of religion to determine their membership and leadership, order their worship and work, ordain whomever they perceive as gifted for ministry, and participate as they deem appropriate in the larger body of Christ.

We believe in the freedom of religion, encompassing the authority of Scripture, the freedom for religion, and the freedom from religion. Additionally, we advocate for the separation of church and state, while also supporting the principles of Baptist church autonomy.
